Strata-G is seeking an experienced Information Research Specialist.
Scope of work:Lead special historical or technical information research projects from a wide variety of collections, internal and external, to meet complex information needs of Laboratory staff and external customers. Leads projects to assess Information Research programs. Initiates and leads new information or historical research projects. Performs self-initiated or institutionally driven high-impact, complex information research or original, high-value historical research. Mentors Information Research Specialists and provides expertise to Laboratory programs as needed. Delivers written analyses and research results, often through professional presentations or papers, to internal and external audiences. Publishes original papers in technical reports, professional journals or in monographs. Synthesizes concepts and provides complex technical information or historical interpretation to Laboratory programs, projects or events. Demonstrates leadership through metrics to meet organizational objectives. Leads high-impact process improvements.
