Strata-G is seeking an experienced Lead Work Control Planner with the following:

Summary:

Under general management direction, this position serves as the Work Control Planning team lead and subject matter expert (SME) for work package development.

  • Provides leadership and guidance to assigned work control planning team.
  • Supervises preparation and/or verifies accuracy of work packages.
  • Ensures scope, design basis and objectives are defined.
  • Conducts effective - results driven - planning meetings and schedules status meetings.
  • Prepares status and milestone reports for management, as required.
  • Prepares, tracks, and controls work order development in support of assigned field activities.
  • Reviews and analyzes work documents for proper classification, priority, and description.
  • Prepares work documents, authorizing maintenance and calibration.
  • Prioritizes, estimates, and establishes man hours needed for work package development.
  • Reviews work schedules generated; analyzes schedules for consistent logic.
  • Provides information in conjunction with Engineering, to support procurement of needed material.
  • Supervises the development of Procedures and ensures standard reports.
  • Reviews and comments upon the work schedules generated.

Completes work assignments with a high level of quality and personal accountability, displaying strong skills in building relationships, communication and motivating others to work together.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facility Management or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Experience:

15 years of relevant experience is required

  • Previous lead or supervisory experience strongly desired
  • Experience with type I work planning required.
  • Experience with procedure writing required.
  • Familiarity with established policies, methods, and practices of the Company strongly desired.
