Strata-G is seeking an experienced Industrial Controls/Electrical Engineer with the following:

Summary:

This position will be responsible for the design, development, implementation of the division’s software-based Industrial Control Systems (ICS) throughout the entire system development life cycle, including configuration control, software quality assurance, and cyber security.
This position may require a RAD Worker II training and may impose a Workplace Substance Abuse Program (WSAP) testing designated position which requires passing a pre-placement drug test and participation in an ongoing random drug testing program in which employees are subject to being randomly selected for testing and undergoing testing without advance notification.

Basic Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience may also be considered.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA control systems software including Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, GE iFIX and Visual Basic
• Experience with servers, networking components, common protocols, and databases
• Demonstrated ability to develop and interpret requirements and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated ability in hardware/software integration.
• 5 or more years of experience with electrical and instrumentation and control
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with virtual machine and thin client technology
• Experience with administration of historians, web-based development, and SQL databases
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with cybersecurity / firewalls
