Strata-G is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technologist with the following:

Summary:

  • On any given day, they may be called upon to:
    • Participate as a part of a functional team to operate a variety of electrical and mechanical systems that facilitate daily accelerator operations at the AGT Facilities.
    • Be assigned to work in various areas/sections of all three accelerators operated by the department.
    • Train others to operate and maintain accelerator systems.
    • Once you become a qualified operator on any one system, you will share responsibilities for operating, maintaining, and improving systems for which they are qualified.
    • Some job activities also require lifting 35 lbs. of weight without assistance.
  • Required Qualifications
    • A high school diploma or equivalent and three years of relevant experience.
    • Five years or more experience in the electrical and/or mechanical trades.
    • Experience with operation of mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
    • Experience with MS Office products such as: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
    • Ability to become a certified diver.
  • Desired Qualifications
    • Experience with various training operations.
    • Experience with working in a team and/or independent environment.
    • • Experienced in operation of pulsed power accelerators.
    • Capable of multitasking and taking direction from members of technical staff.
    • Demonstrated ability to produce technical documentation.

Additional Requirement:

Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
