Strata-G is seeking an experienced Waste Managment Specialist. Requirements are:

    • U.S. citizenship is a requirement.
    • Possess or have ability to obtain a "Q" clearance.
    • BS Degree in engineering or science preferred
    • HAZWOPER and Rad Worker required - other OSHA safety training (e.g. lead, mercury, asbestos, PCB, Beryllium) desired
    • Experience performing work on DOE Oak Ridge Reservation or other CERCLA site desired
    • 10 years of waste management at a DOE facility preferred
    • Functional with MS Word, Excel and Outlook software

    Provides technical support services to waste generators. Represents Waste Management on Project Teams
    and Production department waste-generating activities. Assists generators with developing and executing
    effective characterization strategies. Develops waste management plans and determines packaging
    requirements for compliant transportation and disposal. May prepare waste profiles and supporting
    characterization documents (i.e. Technical Basis Documents, Due Diligence documents).
    Candidate may spend 50% of time in support of field activities that will include climbing ladders and stairs, with
    the balance performing administrative duties.
